The Vizag Steel Plant (Visakhapatnam Steel Plant), operated by Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), is India's first shore-based integrated steel plant, renowned for its state-of-the-art manufacturing processes. The dedicated Steel Plant Museum, located near the Gajuwaka industrial zone, offers visitors a detailed walkthrough of the heavy metallurgy, coke ovens, and steel forging technology. Through scale models, industrial relics, and interactive displays, the museum documents the rich history of the 'Visakha Ukku - Andhrula Hakku' movement that led to the establishment of this industrial giant.
