VMRDA Announces Plans to Establish Dedicated Organic Plaza in Visakhapatnam

Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development Authority (VMRDA) is taking significant strides toward promoting sustainable living and natural farming in the region. Metropolitan Commissioner N. Tej Bharat announced on Sunday that the authorities are actively working to establish a dedicated organic plaza in Visakhapatnam city.
Speaking at the Organic Farmers’ Fair held at A-Hub on the Andhra University campus in Maddilapalem, Mr. Tej Bharat highlighted that the upcoming facility will serve as a specialized marketplace for organically grown produce. The initiative is designed to offer multiple benefits, fostering a supportive environment for local natural farmers while granting consumers and tourists direct access to chemical-free, wholesome produce.
