India will take on South Africa in a league-stage clash of the ICC Women’s ODI World Cup 2025 at the ACA-VDCA Stadium in [Visakhapatnam](https://sportstar.thehindu.com/newstag/Visakhapatnam/?utm=bodytag)on Thursday.

The Women in Blue, unbeaten so far in the tournament, will look to extend their winning streak to three matches.

However, their campaign could face a weather hurdle, with rain and thunderstorms forecast for the coastal city on match day.

Update: 2:55 pm IST

Umpires not satisfied after the first inspection at 2:45 pm. Another one has been scheduled for 3:10 pm.

Update: 2:20 pm IST

The rain has stopped at the ground. The ground staff have started removing the covers with just ten minutes to go to toss.

Update: 2pm IST

The entire ground at the ACA-VDCA is under covers following a heavy drizzle in Vizag. Live broadcast visuals attesting to the same. We might have a delayed toss today.
