**Tadepalli, August 4:** Former Minister Pamula Pushpa Srivani strongly condemned Tribal Welfare Minister Gummadi Sandhya Rani’s remarks against YSRCP President and former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, stating that the Minister lacked even basic knowledge of her own department and was focused only on attacking YS Jagan.

In a video statement, she said the Bhogapuram Airport was realised through YS Jagan’s determination. While Chandrababu Naidu proposed acquiring 15,000 acres and abandoned the project after laying a foundation stone before the elections, the YS Jagan Government acquired 2,700 acres, implemented rehabilitation, spent Rs.1,200 crore, secured approvals and ensured completion by 2026. The coalition merely inaugurated the project and cannot claim even one per cent of its credit.

Pushpa Srivani said YS Jagan gave true recognition to Alluri Sitarama Raju by naming a district after him and organising the installation of his statue at Bhimavaram in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. She questioned Sandhya Rani’s silence over the insult to the traditional Dimsa dance.

She also condemned the selective application of law. While an accidental death involving former Minister Seediri Appalaraju’s family was portrayed as murder, ruling-party leaders escaped serious action in fatal accidents involving the Ichapuram MLA, Pathapatnam MLA’s son and Kurupam Jana Sena in-charge. She said the coalition had replaced Ambedkar’s Constitution with the Red Book, applying one law to its leaders and another to YSRCP members.
