‘Bahuda Yatra’ Celebrated with Religious Fervour in Visakhapatnam

The ‘Bahuda Yatra’ (Return Chariot Festival) of Sri Jagannatha Swamy was celebrated with profound religious fervour in Visakhapatnam on Sunday, July 26, 2026, marking the successful conclusion of the annual Rath Yatra festivities.

The grand return procession commenced from Turner’s Choultry on Main Road and made its way steadily toward the Sri Jagannatha Swamy Temple on Town Kotta Road. The vibrant event was marked by traditional music, rhythmic drum beats, energetic fireworks, and resonant Vedic chanting.

Prior to the return procession, the sacred Rath Yatra celebrations were held from July 17 to July 25 within the Kalyan Mandapam premises located at Turner’s Choultry.
